Dmitriev: Diesel Deal With US to Take Effect From October 23

Russian presidential envoy Kirill Dmitriev said that the "diesel deal" with the US will take effect from October 23. According to him: "The implementation of the diesel deal will effectively begin from tomorrow."
According to Dmitriev, cooperation between Moscow and Washington will continue despite the resistance of "some European colleagues" who "themselves buy far more Russian energy resources than the US does."
He added: "We are also in active dialogue on other energy and technology projects, including the creation of artificial intelligence data centers."
For reference, on October 9, US President Donald Trump announced that he had reached an agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the supply of Russian diesel fuel to American and world markets.
