Melania Trump: Russia and Ukraine Agree to Ceasefire in Oleshky

According to the White House, First Lady of the United States Melania Trump has brokered a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in the city of Oleshky.
According to the statement, the parties agreed to temporarily halt combat operations in Oleshky. This is necessary to prepare for the delivery of humanitarian aid and the evacuation of civilians through a safe corridor. The local ceasefire is to take effect on October 29.
Melania Trump said: "Today the situation in Oleshky is terrible. Oleshky is a city on the front line, which is on the brink of catastrophe. The population remaining in Oleshky consists mainly of elderly people, who urgently need medical assistance, medicines, food and clean water. It was completely clear that without my intervention, it would have been impossible to bring humanitarian aid into the city and evacuate the elderly people".
The statement says that the First Lady and her representative worked directly with the leadership of Russia and Ukraine to clarify the terms of the ceasefire.
Melania Trump added: "Non-military, civilian representatives of both countries will work together to visit the residents of Oleshky in their homes and determine the amount of assistance they need. Residents who wish to evacuate will receive coordinated assistance and transport to the destination of their choice. I expect that some will want to go to Russia, and some to Ukraine".
According to the First Lady, throughout the entire process, an impartial American media organization will be on the ground with the Russian and Ukrainian teams and will cover the events.
