Ukraine and Russia Exchange Seven Civilians Each

Ukraine has returned seven civilians from Russia. Ukrainian media reports this, citing information from Dmytro Lubinets, Ukraine's Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights.
According to Lubinets, the same number of civilians have been returned to Russia. The exchange was carried out with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross, within an agreement with Russia's human rights commissioner, Yana Lantratova.
Among those returned are a 90-year-old woman who has difficulty moving, and a 50-year-old Ukrainian woman who has suffered a myocardial infarction and a stroke and has other illnesses. Lubinets said: "Taking into account the health condition of both women, the necessary transportation conditions were ensured during their return".
According to him, the exchange also made it possible to return a young woman and her child. At the start of the full-scale invasion, they were in Mariupol. Due to the hostilities and the occupation of the city, the woman was unable to return to her family.
In the words of the Ukrainian ombudsman: "Behind every such return are people who need help, and families who are waiting for their loved ones. I thank Russia's human rights commissioner, Yana Lantratova. We will continue this humanitarian work so that such cases of returning home become even more frequent".
