Hegseth: US Did Not Take Part in Restricting Starshield in Ukraine

US War Secretary Pete Hegseth said the United States did not take part in restricting the operation of the Starshield system in Ukraine and did not issue any relevant orders.

A journalist asked Hegseth whether his statement that US policy toward Ukraine has not changed also applies to the Starshield coverage, which was restricted afterward.

"We have not restricted anything. There are terms of service that must be observed, and ultimately, Starlink has the ability to make these decisions. However, our position has not changed. We have not given any instructions, and of course, we wish the Ukrainians success," Hegseth said.
