Peskov: Talks Planned in Abu Dhabi Will Be Held in Trilateral Format

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that negotiations on resolving the conflict in Ukraine planned in Abu Dhabi in the first half of November will be held in a trilateral format.

Journalists asked Peskov whether talks could be held in a quadrilateral format with the participation of European representatives. He replied: "Nothing can be ruled out in advance, but the negotiations planned in Abu Dhabi in the first half of November will be held in a trilateral format".

According to Peskov, a comprehensive settlement of the conflict in Ukraine is impossible without discussing the security issues of Russia and Ukraine.

"Yes, indeed, the president has outlined the topic of the negotiations: these are security issues for both countries - for Russia and Ukraine - after a peaceful settlement is reached. This is one of the very important components of achieving a peaceful settlement", Peskov said.

According to him, the Russian president has not yet made a decision on the composition of the delegation for the new round of negotiations.
