Zelensky: Lifting Sanctions Would Strengthen Putin

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with CNN that lifting sanctions would strengthen Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to him, his attitude toward Putin is completely clear.
According to Zelensky, there is no personal confrontation between him and US President Donald Trump. "Nothing personal between me and President Trump. Of course, I am against lifting sanctions," he said.
According to the Ukrainian president, the meeting held in Oslo, the capital of Norway, was productive, but he does not believe that Putin wants to achieve peace.
"Putin is playing, you know, he is a player. It is unfortunate, because he is playing with other people's lives and, of course, does not want to end the war. Therefore, we ask our partners not to allow him to strengthen himself and to break us," Zelensky said.
