Leaders of member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) may adopt a decision on Armenia's membership at the upcoming session of the Collective Security Council on November 11. This was announced by the organization's Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov, according to Russian media.

Speaking about Yerevan's possible withdrawal, the Secretary General said: "If this issue is submitted to the session of the Collective Security Council, it may happen".

The next session of the CSTO Collective Security Council will take place in Moscow on November 11.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in August, speaking in parliament, that Armenia does not plan to return to the organization over the next five years and would be glad if it were expelled from the organization.
