Tusk: Talks Between US, Ukraine and Russia Planned for Abu Dhabi on November 4

Talks between the US, Ukraine and Russia are preliminarily planned for November 4 in the United Arab Emirates. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said this in Warsaw while speaking to the Council of Ministers.

Tusk noted that a phone conversation between Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store with Russian President Vladimir Putin was followed by consultations. These consultations were held with others, "but first and foremost with President Zelensky and the American side".

According to the Polish prime minister, after the conversation with Putin, Stubb provided him with information and noted that "both sides maintained their positions". Tusk said that Stubb also stated that "during the phone conversation, the European side's impression was of very restrained optimism" about the chances of making progress in Abu Dhabi.
