Davitaia: Judges Who Decide on Party Ban Will Be Sanctioned by UK and US

Paata Davitaia, chairman of the "European Democrats," says that the judges of the Constitutional Court who will make the decision on banning parties will be sanctioned by Britain and the United States.
In an interview on the "Rezume" program of "Palitranius," Davitaia stated that it is unthinkable to him that the Constitutional Court would not satisfy the lawsuit of the ruling party.
According to him, such a decision would be a devastating blow, including for the Constitutional Court itself. Davitaia assesses that the court had until now maintained its image against the backdrop of the whole world criticizing the judicial system and imposing sanctions as well.
"Now it turns out that the Constitutional Court will also be sanctioned, I guarantee you 100%. The judges who will issue the decision will be sanctioned by Britain and by the United States. That they will be sanctioned by Britain will happen just as surely as twice two is four," Davitaia said.
According to him, the entire judicial system will thereby turn out to be sanctioned, which distances Georgia from the European Union. Davitaia asks how these judges will then rule on other issues within the framework of the constitution.
According to his statement, he does not believe that the Constitutional Court will not satisfy the lawsuit of the ruling party and leave these parties in place. According to Davitaia, "the machine has already been switched on, starting with the propaganda machine," while "Georgian Dream" no longer wants a political process in parliament.
