Man Attending Brother's Wedding Killed at Restaurant in Tbilisi

A man was killed in Tbilisi. According to available information, the incident took place yesterday at the restaurant "Lisi Meresti". He was attending the wedding of his deceased brother.

According to Faina Boiko, a relative of the victim, the identity of the killer is not known to them. Speaking to "TV Pirveli", she said: "We do not know the killer's identity. It happened at my brother's wedding. As far as is known, we do not know anything else at this stage. [...] There was a fight, but my niece was trying to calm things down, she was not the initiator of the fight, she was simply trying to calm things down so that the wedding would pass normally".

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has confirmed that the investigation is being conducted under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies intentional murder.
