Giorgi Sioridze, one of the leaders of the "Strong Georgia - Lelo", said that what is happening in Batumi, at the Constitutional Court, is in fact a ban on the entire political opposition and represents the final phase of a constitutional coup. Sioridze made this statement in the "Palitranius" program, calling it "political space".

According to him, in the event of a ban on political parties, "Georgian Dream" will face sanctions "the like of which have not even been dreamed of".

Sioridze stated that Ivanishvili has no external legitimacy, either for the 2024 elections or for his actions. According to him, the US has severed its strategic partnership, while Ivanishvili himself is subject to personal sanctions, which President Trump extended. Sioridze notes that former senior officials of Ivanishvili are on the most severe sanctions list, the "Magnitsky list" as well.

"Ivanishvili and his political force will have to pay a severe political price, including through personal sanctions, the like of which have not even been dreamed of. Manana Kobakhidze understood this, who was being forced to participate in the process", said Sioridze. According to him, politicians in parliament, in the government and elsewhere also understand this. In Sioridze's assessment, Ivanishvili acts with the methods of a criminal syndicate and wants everyone to be tainted by this affair.

Within the country, according to Sioridze, the verdict on "Georgian Dream" will be delivered by Georgian society, both individually and collectively. According to his statement, various scenarios for the development of events exist, but they have taken everything into account.

"We do not intend to stop political struggle. Whatever the situation is, we will fight adequately, within the constitution and legislation, to the end. We have no other way, we certainly do not intend to leave politics or abandon the Georgian people", said Giorgi Sioridze.
