Bibilashvili: Kobakhidze's Resignation Points to Instruction Received by Constitutional Court

Zaza Bibilashvili, a representative of the "United National Movement", said after today's session of the Constitutional Court ended that the fact that Manana Kobakhidze resigned before this process, for him personally confirms what kind of instruction has come to the court.
According to Bibilashvili, Kobakhidze's departure from her post also indicates that under such a court it is impossible to even write a dissenting opinion.
He also said that over these days it was evident that some judges understand things "very well and coherently that are not at all presented and formulated in the lawsuit". Bibilashvili said that they were told by their representative, Alika Kuprava, that it is unclear what his statement is aimed at. In Bibilashvili's assessment, it is clear to society that this statement served to emphasize the unreliability and bias of the witnesses.
"If the court were free, then Manana Kobakhidze could participate in the deliberations and, if she had a dissenting opinion, could persuade her colleagues during discussions and consultations, or if she failed to persuade them, then she could write a dissenting opinion, but apparently an instruction has come that writing a dissenting opinion will be prohibited," said Zaza Bibilashvili.
