Zelensky: We Are Ready to Stop the War Quickly
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with ABC News that Ukraine is ready to stop the war quickly. According to him, Kyiv is ready to freeze the conflict along the current front line.
"Yes, we are ready to stop this war as quickly as possible. We are ready to freeze the conflict right now, along the front line," Zelensky said.
At the same time, according to Zelensky, he does not intend to cede Ukrainian territories or recognize them as part of Russia.
"When they talk about 25%, it means we would have to give up all of Donbas. It means they would control 25%. Currently, they control 19.3%," the Ukrainian president noted.
