Kushner: US Trilateral Talks With Ukraine, Russia in Abu Dhabi

In Brussels, the US held productive and substantive negotiations with Ukraine, NATO and European partners. US President Donald Trump's envoy, Jared Kushner, wrote about this on social media.

According to Kushner, the discussion addressed two essential and interrelated elements of a lasting peace: Ukraine's security guarantees and the broader European security architecture.

"We are working intensively with all sides to find practical solutions that will help end this war and lay the foundations for a sustainable peace," Kushner said.

According to him, the US aims to resolve, practically through agreement, all issues that concern the parties regarding security. Kushner assessed that this will reduce the risk of future conflict.

Kushner noted that next week the United States will hold the first trilateral peace talks with Ukraine and Russia since February in Abu Dhabi.

"We are working with both sides on developing serious proposals that will make the discussions as meaningful and productive as possible. President Trump has made achieving peace a priority. Our attention is focused on carrying out the complex, detailed work necessary to turn this goal into a comprehensive and lasting agreement," Kushner said.
