Rubio on Reports He Will Leave Administration: "Which One?"

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has denied reports that he plans to leave Donald Trump's administration. He declined to answer questions about his political future.
In an interview with The New York Times, Rubio said that working in President Trump's team until the end of his term has always been part of his plans.
Regarding reports about his possible departure from the post, Rubio said: "Frankly, I don't know where all this is coming from".
"I love the job I am doing, and I always laugh when they say he will leave the job. I ask: 'Which one?'" Rubio said.
Rubio, who is also Trump's adviser on national security issues, did not answer whether he is considering running in the 2028 presidential election. In his words: "On 2028, I simply will not talk anymore".
The Secretary of State stressed that Trump "deserves great respect" for the steps that, in Rubio's view, were necessary even when they were not popular with voters.
"Ultimately, that is the price of leadership - the willingness to do things that may not be politically popular or convenient, but are necessary for your country and its long-term future," Rubio said.
