Trump After Meeting Dmitriev: "There Will Be a Deal, a Big Deal"

US President Donald Trump said he met personally with Kirill Dmitriev, Putin's representative, at the White House. The meeting took place after an event organized by First Lady Melania Trump.

Trump did not specify what he discussed with Dmitriev. He said an agreement aimed at ending the ongoing war in Ukraine could be signed soon. Speaking to journalists at the White House, he added that the issue of ending the war is close to being resolved and that the agreement would also concern all of Europe.

"I can't tell you what I talked about. I'll just say there will be a deal, a big deal, and it will involve more parties than Ukraine. Maybe even all of Europe will be involved in it. It will be a big and wonderful deal that everyone will be delighted with," Trump said.
