Zelensky: Russia Used 1,940 Drones and 44 Missiles Against Ukraine in a Week

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, over the past week Russia used 1,940 drones, more than 1,580 guided aerial bombs and 44 missiles of various types against Ukraine. Among them were 36 ballistic missiles. Zelensky wrote about this on social media.
According to Zelensky, the intensity of strikes is extremely high, and Russians are trying to make maximum use of the shortage of interceptors for ballistic missiles.
According to the president, overnight Russia attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure in four regions: Dnipro, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr and Khmelnytskyi. Substations, transformers and power transmission lines were targeted. At this point, hundreds of thousands of families remain without electricity.
Zelensky writes: "We are in daily communication with American, European and other partners who can help with the need for Patriot-type missiles. This month, the United States and European countries made new decisions on allocating additional aid packages for Ukraine. However, delivering this assistance should not take years. Russia is destroying infrastructure and killing our people right now, and this winter it is relying mainly on ballistic missiles. Therefore, decisions related to air defense must also be implemented immediately. I thank everyone who supports protecting Ukraine's skies."
