Sokhadze: School No. 166 Construction Expected to Take Three Years

სოხაძე: №166 სკოლის მშენებლობას სავარაუდოდ სამი წელი დასჭირდება

According to Regional Development and Infrastructure Minister Revaz Sokhadze, construction of Tbilisi Public School No. 166 will begin immediately after the dismantling is completed and is expected to take three years. The minister spoke about this on the "Furthermore on Air" program.

According to him, the school's dismantling is being carried out by the educational institution itself, while the Municipal Development Fund is already preparing a construction project so that construction can begin as soon as the dismantling is completed.

Sokhadze noted that the tender for the school's construction will be announced at the end of the current year or at the beginning of next year.

"I will personally take responsibility for the quality of construction. Our main priority is that all schools are built to a high standard and with full observance of safety," the minister said.

According to him, the ministry is working to accelerate the process as much as possible.
