Penitentiary Service: Giorgi Feikrishvili Moved from De-escalation Room to Cell

The special penitentiary service says that defendant Giorgi Feikrishvili has been moved from a de-escalation room to a cell in Penitentiary Institution No. 8. The agency responds to his lawyer, Paata Gogiashvili, and describes his statement as not corresponding to reality.
According to the lawyer, Feikrishvili is in a de-escalation room and his wounds are bleeding. The penitentiary service explains that the defendant is currently not in a de-escalation room in Institution No. 8, but in a cell.
According to the agency, on October 20 at 20:25, Feikrishvili was moved from the de-escalation room to Penitentiary Institution No. 18 (a treatment facility) for medical care. There, a wound on his hand, inflicted as a result of self-harm, was treated: the skin and muscle tissue were cut.
After this, in the interest of his own safety, the defendant returned to the de-escalation room of Institution No. 8, where he remained until October 22. On October 22 at 15:30, he was moved to a cell.
The service states that Feikrishvili is under the constant supervision of medical staff and that his life and health are not under threat. The agency considers the lawyer's claim that the defendant is not receiving proper medical care as "completely unfounded" and not corresponding to reality.
