Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. According to Zelensky, the sides discussed in detail all existing threats and the steps that will help strengthen Ukraine's defense against Russian strikes. He wrote about this on social media.

According to Zelensky, the Polish prime minister is well informed about the situation related to Russian strikes and how this situation is intensifying every day.

"Russians are using "Shaheds" almost incessantly. It is very important that Poland helps us defend against these attacks. We discussed in detail all existing threats and the steps that will help strengthen our defense against Russian strikes. I also thanked Donald for his clear and principled position on sanctions: not a single step should be taken that would help Russia continue this war," Zelensky says.

Donald Tusk, in turn, wrote on social media that Poland and Ukraine are not only neighboring countries but also friends who can rely on each other even in difficult times.

"We are not just neighbors. We are friends who can rely on each other in difficult times, and no one can ever change that," Tusk says.
