Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says that they are losing a strong partner in the form of the United States. He said this in an interview with British journalist Pirs Morgan.

Morgan asked whether he feels betrayal from the US side. Zelensky replied: "Actually, yes. Actually, between us. But it is more complicated than just my emotions or feelings. It does not depend on me, our country must survive."

The journalist also asked what Zelensky's reaction was when US President Donald Trump announced an agreement with Russia on diesel fuel.

Zelensky's response: "It is unfortunate that we are losing a strong partner. So, this is my opinion... but it is not happening because of us. We cannot be weak, otherwise we will not survive. We are not selling our country. This is not business for us, this is our life, and this is our country - our home, our children, and this is very important to us."

In his words: "That is why this is painful. When President Trump chooses one side - not our side. And we are comfortable being in the middle. But if you are in the middle, you must stay in the middle and not on the wrong side."

Zelensky adds: "I think his advisers are wrong. I do not know who is pushing him to the wrong side - this is not the right side of history."
