Britain to Supply Ukraine with Additional Storm Shadow Missiles

Great Britain will provide Ukraine with additional long-range Storm Shadow missiles. Bloomberg reports this, citing informed sources.

According to the information, Ukraine will need the missiles to be able to disrupt, before winter, Russian military operations targeting its civilian infrastructure.

The issue of replenishing stocks of British-made missiles was discussed on October 14 in London at a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and British Prime Minister Andy Burnham. According to sources, London considers the use of short-range weapons against Russian facilities involved in strikes on civilians and civilian infrastructure as a defensive measure.

Sources also note that in recent weeks Russia has increased production of jet-powered drones to intensify attacks on Ukraine, and it is important that Kyiv be able to resist them.

Great Britain, according to the information, does not believe that Ukraine should stop strikes against Russia until Moscow refuses to do the same.
