Zelensky Arrives in Brussels to Attend European Council Meeting

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Brussels. He announced this himself on social media.

According to Zelensky, he is in Brussels with his team to take part in the European Council meeting and to hold talks with partners.

According to the president, important meetings are planned today with NATO Secretary General, the President of France, the Prime Ministers of Poland, Denmark and Belgium, as well as Belgian King Philippe. Tomorrow he has meetings with the Presidents of the European Council and the European Commission, as well as the Prime Ministers of Hungary, Finland and Sweden.

Zelensky says: "Everyone in Europe wants this war to end. To achieve this, clear signals are needed - more effective pressure on Russia and stronger support for Ukraine in the field of defense. Joint action to protect human lives is especially important now".
