Precipitation Expected in Western Georgia on November 7-9, 4-5 Point Storm at Sea and Heavy Snow in High Mountain Zones

According to the National Environmental Agency, precipitation is expected over most of western Georgia from the second half of the day on November 7 until the morning of November 9. In Adjara and Guria, precipitation will be intermittent and of strong intensity.
Thunderstorms and strong winds are possible, and a storm of 4-5 points is expected at sea. In high mountain zones, heavy snow, snowstorms and fog are expected in some places.
Due to heavy snowfall, snowstorms and reduced visibility, traffic movement may be restricted on certain sections of motor roads.
According to the agency, heavy precipitation may cause a significant rise in water levels in the lower reaches of the rivers of Adjara and Guria and their tributaries. In hilly and mountainous zones, landslide and mudflow processes may form or become active, and in urban areas some places may be flooded. The level of danger is medium.
