Japaridze Calls Constitutional Court Process a "Spectacle"

Zurab Japaridze, one of the leaders of the "Coalition for Changes," compared the ongoing process at the Constitutional Court to a spectacle on social media. According to him, everyone knows that Bidzina Ivanishvili is watching, yet the participants in the game still have distinct nuances.
Japaridze writes that those who want to find this "historic process" interesting to watch should give up their illusions and unfounded optimism and look at what is actually happening. According to him, everyone knows everything in advance and no one expects anything extraordinary. Even the marshals have been dressed in special uniforms.
The politician divides the participants into four groups: a) some are trying to win Ivanishvili's favor and are publicly showing their obedience for the first time; b) some are also trying to win favor, but are already "in favor" and want to maintain their position; c) some try to stay quiet, fulfill the minimum obligation, finally sign the decision and slip away, hoping no one will remember them in the future; d) some still live in the mode of insisting "I am not a Nats" regarding their past, and stand out with particular "steadfastness" stemming from Ivanishvili's intensified paranoia.
Japaridze adds: "In the end, we could also establish some prize for the best performer of the role."
The Constitutional Court is considering a lawsuit seeking to ban political parties.
