Samadashvili: Party Ban Lawsuit Is Legally Absurd, We Will Continue the Fight in Strasbourg

One of the leaders of "Strong Georgia - Lelo", Salome Samadashvili, stated that on the second day of the hearing at the Constitutional Court it is already very clear that the lawsuit to ban parties is legally absolute absurdity.

According to her, if the Constitutional Court satisfies the lawsuit, "Lelo" will continue the fight in the Strasbourg court.

"I do not know what decision the Constitutional Court will make if it decides to commit figurative suicide and satisfy this lawsuit. Of course, we will continue the fight in Strasbourg, in the international legal space. I can tell you with certainty that I have full hope that if the Constitutional Court has not come to its senses and reason and does not consider it necessary to take measures itself that would neutralize this legal absurdity and constitutional coup attempt, which we are watching at the Constitutional Court today, Strasbourg will give an answer", said Salome Samadashvili.
