All four Moscow airports operating with restrictions due to drone attacks

All four Moscow airports have halted operations due to drone and "aerostat" attacks, Russian media reports.

According to reports, Vnukovo, Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky have introduced temporary restrictions. The restrictions took effect at approximately 15:40 local time.

According to FlightRadar24 data, flights from Vnukovo were affected the most. More than 40% of flights were delayed, the average delay lasted 102 minutes, and another 10% were canceled.

Airports in the Moscow region were also affected by disruptions on the night before October 9. At that time, Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky were closed due to the threat of drone attacks. Over 150 flights were delayed during the night.
