Witkoff and Kushner to Meet Ukrainian Delegation in Miami

US representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will meet the Ukrainian side in Miami on Friday. The aim of the meeting is to discuss new ideas and develop a unified proposal for resolving the ongoing war in Ukraine. Reuters writes about this, citing an informed American source.
According to the source, the working meeting will discuss "new ideas and proposals that American negotiators began developing together with the Russians and Ukrainians during their latest visit to the region".
Representatives of the White House National Security Council and the US Treasury Department will take part in the meeting. Kyrylo Budanov, head of the intelligence service, Rustem Umerov and chief negotiator David Arakhamia will represent Ukraine.
American negotiators invited national security advisers from the United Kingdom, France and Germany, as well as representatives of NATO and the European Union. The parties are expected to discuss security guarantee proposals for Ukraine, a post-war prosperity plan and other aspects of the conflict.
According to the source, Europeans informed the US of their dissatisfaction over high energy prices and other significant financial impacts caused by the conflict. "If the war does not end, a difficult winter awaits us. Therefore, the US is trying to act as a mediator between the parties so that a unified proposal can be developed," the source said.
