According to the agency, the central government regularly raised the issue of the unconditional release of Georgian citizens from illegal detention within the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) format.

"The "hotline" tool was intensively used, as well as all relevant means at the disposal of the central government. International partners were actively involved in the negotiations," the SSG said in its statement.

According to the SSG, the central government, together with international partners, continues active work to free all Georgian citizens held in illegal detention in the occupied territories.
