Zelensky Rejects Rubio's 'Diplomatic Deadlock' Statement

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky rejected U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio's statement that a diplomatic end to the war is impossible because the situation has reached a 'deadlock'. Zelensky made the remarks to journalists in the city of Priluky, where a Russian missile hit a residential building, killing 22 people, including 5 children.
According to him, discussing future economic projects with Russia and discussing a diplomatic deadlock at the same time is not possible. Zelensky called on the United States to help Ukraine gain air superiority and increase pressure on Russia.
"You understand, you cannot, on the one hand, talk to the Russians about future economic projects and, on the other, say that we are in a political situation, some kind of diplomatic deadlock. We are not in a diplomatic deadlock. Lock up their entire economy. Sew Russia's mouth shut. Do not feed them with your purchases. Just impose sanctions on their arms. Open 'Starlink' for us, for Ukraine," Zelensky said.
The Ukrainian president noted that the U.S. opened 'Starlink' while responding to Iran, as a result of which 'Israel fully controlled Iran's skies'.
"So, when you need it, it works... Helping Ukraine is worth nothing to them. And I say openly: 'Give us, help us protect the sky and gain dominance. As a result, Putin will sit down at the negotiating table. Why? Because he will lose everything. In three, two months he will lose everything. And we are waiting for when the Chinese will have an analogue of this and transfer it to the Russians. Then where is the truth here, where is honesty here, where is all of this? What deadlock? This is not a deadlock, this is a lack of will," Zelensky said.
