Parliament Chairman of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili responds to the ongoing processes during the protests in France in a post published on social media.

According to Papuashvili, whoever "sows the wind in someone else's country will reap the whirlwind in their own".

"Neither were these Venetian cartographers, nor were they Egyptian students thirsting for learning. What we are watching in France these days reminds us that whoever sows the wind in someone else's country will reap the whirlwind in their own", writes Papuashvili.

Along with the post, he shared a photo showing Georgian Ambassador of France Chérazède Gasri together with activists.

Clashes broke out during the protests in France. According to BBC, at least 1,200 people were detained. Buildings were set on fire in the capital and other cities, including Limoges, where a fire in the city hall building caused part of the roof to collapse.
