Gegelia: Georgia's European Integration Irreversibly Halted and Russian Goal Achieved

Strong Georgia - Lelo Foreign Secretary Grigol Gegelia accuses Georgian Dream of destroying Georgia's European path. According to him, at this point the country has "achieved the Russian goal".

According to Gegelia, Georgia's European integration has been "irreversibly halted". The opposition figure considers changing the regime and course of Georgian Dream to be the only way to restore the process.

"The regime has done absolutely everything so that no European integration exists any longer. Unfortunately, at this moment the Russian goal has been achieved, because Georgia's European integration is irreversibly damaged and halted. The only thing that will help restore the process is a change of regime and course. Urgently and immediately implementing all reforms that will turn Georgia into an adequate state; moving rapidly back toward the European Union; and caring for the restoration of trust, which the Georgian Dream regime has recklessly destroyed and eliminated", Gegelia said.
