Kirtskhalia: Ivanishvili Spoke Most About Kobakhidze at Sessions and Every Word Was Praise

Irakli Kirtskhalia, leader of the parliamentary majority and member of the Georgian Dream political council, commented to the media on rumors that Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze would resign or was being forced to leave his post.
According to Kirtskhalia, Kobakhidze was indeed discussed both at the political council and at the majority session. Party founder and honorary chairman Bidzina Ivanishvili spoke about him a lot, but every word was praise. Kirtskhalia said the team joins Ivanishvili's position and supports Kobakhidze.
"There was indeed talk about the Prime Minister, including by Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili, he indeed spoke about him a lot, but absolutely every word was praise for him. Of course, the team joins Bidzina Ivanishvili in the support and praise expressed to Irakli Kobakhidze, because under his leadership the Georgian government works very well, and there is not only no reason for his resignation, but absolutely every day that has passed confirms that he is the best prime minister. This is exactly what Bidzina Ivanishvili emphasized, he devoted the most time to talking about him, and this talk was purely praise of Irakli Kobakhidze.
When there is such a situation, and everyone sees what an honest, hardworking and decent prime minister the country has, and the opposition keeps spreading such rumors, it is very clear where they stand and in what condition they are", said Irakli Kirtskhalia.
