Young Man Under 20 Injured in Shildа Village, Kvareli Municipality

A young man under 20 was injured in the village of Shilda in Kvareli Municipality. The wounds were allegedly inflicted by a minor. The incident took place at the village cemetery.

According to locals, after celebrating the second day of a wedding, friends went to the grave of the father of one of them. There they had a verbal altercation with a group of minors, during which one of the minors allegedly stabbed the young man under 20 with a bladed weapon.

The injured man has wounds to his head and waist area. He was hospitalized and his life is not in danger.

An investigation was launched under Article 120 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which concerns intentional infliction of minor bodily injury.
