Bachaliashvili's Parents Address Liluashvili and Garibashvili Outside Rustavi Prison

The parents of Tamar Bachaliashvili, a deceased programmer, held a rally outside Rustavi's No. 12 penitentiary institution. Banners read: "Grigol Liluashvili, speak up!" and "Irakli Garibashvili, speak up!"

The addressees of their appeal were former senior officials convicted of crimes, Irakli Garibashvili and Grigol Liluashvili. According to the deceased's parents, former head of the State Security Service Grigol Liluashvili and former Minister of Defence Irakli Garibashvili have information related to Tamar Bachaliashvili's death and they call on them to make this information public.

Teona Tamazashvili said: "A few weeks ago, we sent letters to Liluashvili and Garibashvili demanding that they admit to participating in the murder of Tamar Bachiashvili and name the individuals who acted together with them, because Tamar Bachiashvili's blood is on the hands of very many people. We do not know whether our letter reached the addressee, so we came to the prison to directly appeal to Garibashvili and Liluashvili to admit their crime, tell all the circumstances they know about this case and, in a way, save their souls. I once again appeal to them, a lot depends on you. In the end, so that only the murder of Tamar Bachaliashvili is not attributed to you, it is better to admit and name the masterminds and the perpetrators."

Tamar Bachaliashvili's father, Jumber Bachaliashvili, stated that Grigol Liluashvili "knows everything" regarding his daughter's death.

Jumber Bachaliashvili said: "A month has passed since the letter was sent, and to this day there has been no answer. Liluashvili, why is he silent? He thinks this will pass, it is out of the question! Liluashvili knows everything in detail, on whose orders the child was killed, who carried out this deed, he knows everything. Has Liluashvili not seen that the torture of so many people, the betrayal of the nation and the country, was not appreciated? Now at least let him show a little manhood, answer us, tell the truth, we will not spare my child's blood from them."
