Russia Strikes Kyiv With Ballistic Missiles, Thermal Power Plant No. 4 Damaged

Russian forces attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles. Thermal Power Plant No. 4 and a residential building were damaged. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky responded to the attack, writing that there had been no advance warning from partners.
"A Russian ballistic missile attack on Kyiv. Once again, there was no advance warning from our partners. The main target was energy infrastructure, namely CHP-4. Unfortunately, it was damaged. A residential building was also damaged, and rescuers are currently putting out a fire there. Our systems detected these missiles only when they were already practically approaching Kyiv. CHP-4 is one of Kyiv's key energy facilities," Zelensky wrote.
According to him, intelligence information indicates that Russia is preparing another ballistic missile attack. Zelensky also responded to the statement of the US president, who said that the United States continues to share intelligence with Ukraine. Asked whether Americans had stopped providing Ukraine with intelligence, the US president replied: "No, no, we are helping them."
According to Zelensky, "the facts show that the Russians do not consider themselves limited by what the President of the United States said. Ukraine supported a ceasefire on energy strikes. But Russia is targeting another power plant and our people's lives."
"And this is completely unjust: when they destroy our energy infrastructure, Ukraine does not even receive advance warning of ballistic missile launches. It is important that the world does not remain silent on this. And it is important that the United States of America truly sees what is happening and who is responsible for the continuation of this war. Please keep yourselves safe today and tomorrow. We are working to equip our air defense with anti-ballistic missiles," Zelensky wrote.
Earlier, Zelensky said that Ukraine received no warning from partners before the Russian ballistic missile strike on Kyiv on Monday evening.
