Kobakhidze: We Did Not Join Russia Sanctions and That Was an Unalternative Decision

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said that Georgia did not join the sanctions against Russia at the time and that this was a rational, pragmatic and unalternative decision. He made the remarks in response to a journalist's question concerning the easing of restrictions by the United States on Russian diesel.
According to Kobakhidze, this is the policy of the United States of America.
"We, at the time, you remember, when we did not join the sanctions against Russia, what a large campaign followed all of this. Against this background, we see that the easing of sanctions is underway. Once again it has become clear that we made an absolutely rational and pragmatic, correct, unalternative decision at the time, when we did not join the sanctions against Russia", the prime minister said.
