Lemonjava: It Is Time to Move from Containment to Attack

At a rally held by the "Opposition Alliance," Giga Lemonjava, one of the leaders of the party "Droa," said in his speech that the struggle will not stop because of any regime, and that it is time to move from a mode of containment and defense to attack.

According to him, if anyone should be afraid in this country, it is "Russian oligarch Bidzina Ivanishvili." Lemonjava noted that today's gathering and future actions are guided by the leitmotif "Georgia without Ivanishvili."

According to Lemonjava, the Kremlin is using the Georgian Parliament and the Constitutional Court as a means to legalize Russian troops in the occupied territories, and society must not allow this. In his assessment, the constitutional lawsuit filed by "Georgian Dream" is nothing other than the legalization of Russian troops on Georgian territory and a blow to the country's sovereignty and unity.

"We are in a hybrid war with Russia, and their goal is simple - they want to wear us out, make us lose hope, plunge us into despair and make us lay down our arms in the struggle," Lemonjava said.

According to him, when Ivanishvili bans political parties, it is not the cancellation of the registration of five parties or coalitions, it is the cancellation of the registration of the country as a state. Lemonjava added that only the citizens of Georgia can stop all of this.

"There is no regime because of which we will lay down our arms in the struggle. It is time to move from containment and defense to attack and show who is the master of this country. You are the masters of this country, the citizens of Georgia," said Giga Lemonjava.
