The Constitutional Court will resume hearing the lawsuit by 88 deputies of Georgian Dream seeking to declare 5 political parties unconstitutional today at 14:00.

By decision of the court's chairman, Revaz Nadaraia, the plenum will today announce its decision on the motion of "Gakharia for Georgia". The motion concerns questioning specific political figures as witnesses, including Bidzina Ivanishvili and other current or former leaders of Georgian Dream. After this, the process will move to the stage of substantive consideration.

The hearing of the lawsuit began at the Constitutional Court on October 21. Until now, the court has not granted any motion submitted by representatives of opposition parties. The case will be heard by a plenum of seven judges of the court.

The lawsuit is signed by 88 deputies of parliament. The question of declaring unconstitutional concerns five associations: "Unity – National Movement", "Coalition for Change - Gvaramia Melia Girchi It's Time", "Strong Georgia – Lelo, for the People, for Freedom!", "Federalist Party" and "Gakharia for Georgia".

The constitutional lawsuit is accompanied by the conclusion of the temporary investigative commission created in the XI convocation of parliament.
