Zelensky: Russia Supports Trilateral Meeting at Team Level

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia supports a trilateral meeting at the level of teams. He made the statement in a conversation with the media. According to Zelensky, the timing of the meeting is unknown.
Zelensky noted that today Steve Witkoff held a meeting with the Russian side. According to him, Ukraine received a response and, as they learned from the briefing, Russia supports a trilateral meeting. The American side is asking for the meeting to be held as soon as possible, and Ukraine supports this.
"It is important that today Steve Witkoff held a meeting with the Russian side. We received a response that Russia, as we learned from the briefing, supports a trilateral meeting at the level of our teams. The American side is proposing that this meeting be held as soon as possible, and we support this. I do not know what the final timing of this meeting will be," Zelensky said.
According to him, the agenda of a possible meeting remains the end of the war, moving closer to peace, and preparing for a meeting at the leaders' level.
"Teams will continue discussions to work out this agenda. I do not know when this meeting will take place... We will see, everything does not depend on us. We will support proposals for a ceasefire, for an end to the war, for an energy ceasefire, and for any ceasefire, in any case, and also on humanitarian initiatives, the return of prisoners and diplomacy," Zelensky said.
