Zelensky: Trump should change his rhetoric toward Putin

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Donald Trump can help end the war, but for that he needs to change his rhetoric toward Vladimir Putin. Zelensky made the statement on the podcast The Diary Of A CEO.
According to him, Trump can very easily bring Putin to the negotiating table. "The rhetoric he uses toward me should be used toward Putin. He has sanctions against Russia on the table, which were given not by him but by Congress - he can do it. Maybe he has a special relationship with Putin, maybe something else. I don't know what the reason is," Zelensky said.
The Ukrainian president considers it unfair that Trump blames him for rising diesel fuel prices in the US. "President Trump is explaining to the American people that prices in the US are supposedly rising because we are carrying out strikes in Russia. This is complete nonsense. We have a good relationship with Trump, but I consider it unfair that he blames me. He is distorting the context," Zelensky noted.
