Farulava: Arrest of Kiphiani and Bilanishvili Was Staged, They Were Let Into Prison to Extract Money

"National Movement" Governing Council member Lasha Farulava claims that in Gldani prison, Vato Kiphiani and his brigade physically dealt with the Feikrishvili brothers. According to him, the arrest was staged and the defendants were in fact let into the prison to extract money.

Farulava said that, according to the lawyer, the Feikrishvilis are being asked for cryptocurrency codes. According to him, he has said several times that all of this may be linked to "call centers" and money withdrawn from them, and that "it is really so." Farulava asks: "Who needs these codes and money?" and adds: "Surely not Ivanishvili by chance?"

Farulava also demands the publication of footage of the confrontation in Gldani prison: "Let the prison camera recordings and absolutely everything related to this criminal affair be made public. Once again it has become clear that the Public Defender is also Ivanishvili's tail and not a defender of people's rights, and she should be removed along with them."

According to him, he and his friends are going to Batumi for the case on banning parties.

According to the lawyer, defendants held in Gldani Penitentiary Facility No. 8, so-called criminal authority Vato Kiphiani, Avtandil Bilanishvili (Katsro), Shota Kiphiani, Kacharava and Gotsiridze, physically confronted defendant Davit Feikrishvili, who is considered a person close to criminal circles. As a result, Feikrishvili has injuries, including fractures. According to the lawyer, after the confrontation, Giorgi Feikrishvili, who is also in Gldani prison but in a different cell, cut his veins "to save his brother's life."

Feikrishvili brothers' lawyer Paata Gogiashvili told Formula: "The health condition of Davit Feikrishvili is dire - he has four broken ribs, a broken skull, facial bones, and hemorrhages. According to his account, physical injuries were inflicted by Vato Kiphiani, Avtandil Bilanishvili (also known as "Katsro"), Shota Kiphiani, Kacharava and Gotsiridze. [Brother] Goga Feikrishvili also has an injury, he cut his veins yesterday."

Davit and Giorgi Feikrishvili were detained in Tbilisi on September 22. The detention is linked to violence and extortion. Vato Kiphiani, Shota Kiphiani and Avtandil Bilanishvili were detained on October 15, 2026, and they face charges of group violence.
