Kaladze: Economic Growth Is a Result of Georgian Dream's Policy

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze says that in recent years there is a positive trend in Georgia from an economic standpoint and that the country is moving forward. According to him, the ruling team's policy made this possible.

The mayor answered a question from journalists. The question concerned Geostat data, according to which local exports grew by 60.3 percent in January-September 2026.

"In general, we have a very positive trend in terms of economic development. In recent years the country has been developing, the economy is growing, local business is moving forward. This is very important. Don't think that this is accidental. Everyone clearly sees what is happening around us, what is happening in Europe, in the Middle East and in the world in general, how difficult and tense the political situation is. The fact that Georgia is developing today and moving forward economically is something that the policy implemented by 'Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia' made possible for us. Despite numerous insults, unfair attitudes, threats and slander, we have a very principled position - we want to maintain peace, which is followed by related processes. Ultimately, everything is reflected in the economy. We will, of course, continue economic development so that every citizen of our country feels prosperity for themselves", said Kakha Kaladze.
