Khoshtaria from Prison: Constitutional Lawsuit Hearing Is a Treason Trial

Elene Khoshtaria, leader of "Droa", in a letter sent from prison, calls the hearing of the constitutional lawsuit a "treason trial". According to her, the hearing of the lawsuit will begin in 2 days.

Khoshtaria writes that it is very important to assess this lawsuit with the right word and its exact meaning. According to her statement, replacing the exact meaning with a false one is a Russian propaganda technique, so she does not use another name.

In the letter, Khoshtaria states that responsibility for the aggression and occupation carried out against our own country falls on our own state. For example, she cites several quotes from the lawsuit, including those about the armed confrontation in the direction of Tskhinvali in 2004, the creation of the provisional administrative-territorial unit in 2007, and the events of August 2008. She also cites an excerpt on relations with the Ukrainian government, which speaks of the expulsion of the Georgian ambassador from Ukraine in July 2023.

Khoshtaria says that these facts are precisely from the constitutional lawsuit, so it deserves only one name: "treason trial".

In the letter, Khoshtaria thanks journalist Vakho Sanaia for "shaking the system" and expresses support for his family, especially, as she writes, her friend Sani.
