Sybiha: US Decision Not Linked to Effective Pressure on Russia

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha believes that if Russia is pleased with America's decision of yesterday, this is not related to the effective pressure exerted to end the war. He wrote this on social media.

According to Sybiha, indecisiveness sends the wrong signal to the aggressor and only prolongs the war. He added that Lindsey Graham understood this well.

According to the minister, one lesson regarding action against Russia should have been clear for a long time: any meaningful conversation with Russians begins with real pressure and force.

Sybiha writes that Russians disregard any call for peace that is accompanied by indecisiveness. In his words, they do not respect threats of pressure or delayed decisions, and they do not take them seriously.
