Dmitriev calls suspension of Graham Act historic moment

Kirill Dmitriev, special presidential envoy of Russia, describes the suspension of the "Graham Act" as a historic moment. He published the statement on social media.

Dmitriev responded to the executive order of US President Donald Trump, by which Trump suspended the implementation of sanctions and tariffs against Russia provided for by the "Lindsey Graham Act".

According to Dmitriev, "economic cooperation between Russia and the US is in the interests of both countries".

"The suspension of the "Graham Act" by President Trump's administration is an important and truly historic moment. Instead of sanctions and confrontation, we need dialogue, mutually beneficial cooperation and joint responsibility for global stability", says Dmitriev.
