Nino Abramishvili, mother of prisoner Davit Feyqrishvili, is requesting that the investigation into the beating of her son, launched under the article on violence, be reclassified under the article on group violence. According to her, prison head Ramaz Pirtskhalava and former head of the Penitentiary Service Giorgi Pataridze should be held accountable. She told journalists this before being questioned at the Prosecutor General's Office.

Abramishvili said she is appealing to the government to answer her question of who beat her son. "We demand that the qualification be changed under Article 143, this is group violence. All these attackers must be arrested," she said.

Abramishvili said the prison head remains in his position to this day, while, according to her, under the law in such cases the prison head is the first to be removed. According to her statement, the prison head himself takes part in the beating.

According to Nino Abramishvili, a "performance was staged" against her children. According to her, "this torture and staging of the performance began on September 22," while on September 23 an employee of the State Security Service called agencies and ordered the detention of her children. According to her, the article was then toughened and Vato Kiphiani appeared.

Abramishvili says she is seeking an exemplary punishment not because the victims are her children, but because all mothers and prisoners must be protected. According to her, they went after the government because such a thing was committed in prisons.

At the questioning at the Prosecutor General's Office, Nino Abramishvili was summoned together with her former daughter-in-law, Ano Ananiashvili. At this time, Ano Ananiashvili is answering investigators' questions.
