Erdogan to Trump: Turkey Ready to Help Restore Diplomatic Process Between Ukraine and Russia
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone call. They discussed Turkish-US bilateral relations, as well as regional and global developments.
According to the Turkish Presidential Administration, Erdogan said that efforts will continue to strengthen Turkish-US relations and deepen cooperation in all areas.
Erdogan noted that Turkey is closely monitoring developments in the Strait of Hormuz and Yemen and is trying to resolve problems through diplomatic means.
According to the Turkish Presidential Administration, Erdogan stressed that Turkey is ready to contribute to restoring the diplomatic process between Ukraine and Russia and, through this, to ending the war.
