Demining of Roads Begins for Civilian Evacuation from Oleshky

According to Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets and US First Lady Melania Trump, demining of roads has begun for the evacuation of civilians from Oleshky.

Lubinets said that since October 27 a ceasefire regime has been in effect in a certain area and both sides are observing it. "Currently, demining of routes is underway. This is a critically important step to ensure the safe delivery of humanitarian aid and to give civilians who want to leave the city the opportunity to do so," he writes.

Later, Melania Trump confirmed on social media that Ukraine and Russia have begun demining roads so that humanitarian aid can safely reach the city of Oleshky.
