Tsutskiridze: Protest Must Acquire Political Dimension

Levan Tsutskiridze, leader of the "Freedom Square" movement, said at the start of a protest rally near the first building of Tbilisi State University that the aim of the action is to once again say that they will not accept being presented with an obedient, silent crowd by the Georgian nation. According to him, this crowd will become a source of enrichment for Bidzina Ivanishvili, and they are depriving it of civic dignity.
Tsutskiridze believes that the protest movement will grow even stronger and that it is necessary for the protest to acquire a political dimension as well.
"It is our task today to gather and say that this struggle must continue with an even stronger protest, but also with an even stronger political organization. Protest is very important. Now we need even stronger, even more political organization, and we will certainly achieve that power returns to the hands of the people, which has been unjustly taken away from them," said Levan Tsutskiridze.
